Resort collections always seem to translate visions of travel and paradise, this year was certainly no exception with several inspired and beautiful collections. Here are some of the strongest trends to take note of from the latest cruise collection.

The Classic Sweater

The classic cotton sweater made a huge comeback this season and was a favourite among many designers such as Victoria Beckham and Prabal Gurung. This cotton sweater is definitely a season must have, and an essential in everyone’s closet.

Ruffles and Frills

Designers certainly had on rose coloured glasses when creating their Resort 2016 collections this season! The soft pastel hue was a favourite amongst the collections and you can expect to see much more of it, in fact Donatella herself dubbed blush the new white.
