City Guide: Singapore
Saturday, January 07, 2017Lately I have been missing the little red dot I called home for four years immensely! So I thought what better way to channel this than to create a city guide with all of my favorite places in Singapore! If you’re heading to the tropical island anytime soon you’ll want to add all of these to your list!
WHERE TO SHOP
Pedder on Scotts

Ahh.. Orchard Road.. This 1.4 mile boulevard has just about every store imaginable, so if you’re in the mood for some damage I promise you it won’t disappoint! One of my favorite stores here has to be Pedder on Scotts. If you’re looking for an unconventional and eccentric place for all the designer footwear and handbags of your dreams this is it.

Haji Lane
Another area you're likely find interesting pieces is on Haji Lane, a small almost hidden street consisting of beautiful shophouses. Down the lane are several small boutiques and cafes definitely worth exploring! A few of my personal favorites include Time After Time and MonMode.
Chinatown
Similarly to Haji Lane, Singapore’s Chinatown is a great spot for interesting boutiques! Egg3 is a lifestyle and clothing store with some of the most captivating pieces! Definitely the place to go if you’re looking for something unique no one else will be carrying!

WHERE TO EAT / DRINK
Wild Honey
Over the summer I’m not joking when I say I probably went here about 20 times… Wild Honey is hands down one of the best places for brunch on the island with a menu featuring breakfast items from all over the world. The Paris Hot Chocolate is not to be missed!

Shop Wonderland Cafe
Imagine you fell down a rabbit hole and entered Wonderland.

Aria @ The Scarlet Hotel
Located in the 1920s art deco style Scarlet Hotel, Aria is a beautiful rooftop bar with views of Chinatown. It’s perfect for a nice night out if you aren’t looking for something super formal.

Lantern Fullerton
There are so many swanky rooftop bars in Singapore, but Lantern at the Fullerton Bay is not to be missed! This is the place to go if you want a 360° view of the skyline while sipping on lavish cocktails.
WHAT TO SEE
This is one of the major tourist attractions you actually can not miss if you visit Singapore! Fun fact I actually had not been to Gardens by the Bay until my very last day in Singapore and I can confirm it was completely worth it! The park has a range of so many diverse plants from all over the world, so if you’re only in Singapore for a few days make sure you make it here!
